We travelled along the beach as part of a tour. It's amazing, it is like a road, therefore can be and is patrolled by the local police. We came across him pulling people over and breathalyzing them. The beach is also used for the landing...More

Amazing experience as part of Fraser Island Safari two-day tour - took a sightseeing flight right off the beach, saw the wreck of the Maheno (sad), floated down Eli Creek on a rubber ring

The weather was against us, the sea very angry, the tide seemed to turn quickly and still it is the best sand beach driving experience you will have. Eli creek, the Maheno wreck, the Pinnacles, the Cathedrals . Just spectacular

4WD along Seventy-Five Mile beach is so much fun. Smooth sand and a few bumps to add to the fun. Very safe. Other drivers were all doing the right thing and kept it safe.

Clean and tidy, with the same rules of any road, just without the markings! Be careful when driving due to hidden sand humps and dips, and beware of the Dingo's!

Fantastic to drive up an almost deserted highway...and it being a beach! Littered with places of interest to visit along the way.

Have never seen aeroplanes landing on beach and police cars checking car exceeding speed limit, good day out.

We hired our own 4wd and drove along the beach and it was really fun. You have to be really careful as there can be sudden unexpected dips which may be why a lot of people have opted for the 'tag a long' tours where...More
