This is a good experience and as the name suggests - it rains A LOT. It wont necessarily be raining on the beach/coast but it sure will be inland. it comes down in torrents, and is usually not cold. Very picturesque.

Our walk was not too long. Around 30 minutes. But there are som nice spots and a very exotic river running thru it. Wanted to see some more wilderness and animals. But none.

Excellent family camping area, hot showers are available for $2 rainforest is beautiful. Take bug spray and do not rely on solar power the rainforest blocks most of the sun out.

The rainforest walk is a beautiful path next to a crystal clear creek. You can do just small walk or go for a longer one to reach Lake MacKenzie for example. This is the only place in the world where rainforest grows on a sand island.

We stopped at a rainy day and we were the only people there, but usually it's bustling. Most people will end up passing through and it's a nice place for lunch. There's a beautiful creek and rainforest walk with a creek that has water so impossibly clear it looks like it's empty.

I loved that walking through this allowed me to hear so much wildlife while at the same time take in the serene surroundings of the woodland and the creek flowing through. Filled with vast trees and amazing ferns; this is definitely a nature/science enthusiasts ideal short trail!

Full of giant trees and an abundance of air plants, a white sand, freshwater creek, lace monitor roaming... just a wonderful experience.

Very thoughtful setting to keep the rainforest in its organic way, the deck allows us to be apart of the rainforest without destroying it.

Take your insect repellent you will need it due to the mosquitoes. The walk gives wonderful views of the creek and also displays the historic huts and machinery. Food safes are provided to keep your food safe from dingoes

What natural beauty of the forest, the amazing clarity of the fresh water stream combined with the early history of the exploitation of the islands timber
