I don't know what is about the Pool Bar. Hamilton Island can have thousands of paying guests, of which only 50 are loutish fools, but all 50 of them will be at the pool bar. Unlike some reviewers here, I think the only problem with the pool bar is the number and attitude of the customers. This is an extremely... More

The pool bar is a great idea you can just swim up to the bar and order your drink from the bar, there are even stools in the water. They have a range of cocktails, beers and soft drinks all served in plastic cups for safety reasons.

This pool and bar are great, and we were amazed you could just walk off the beach and use their facilities for free. Good cocktails, a nice big pool, plenty of sun loungers. What's not to like? Perfect for when you've had enough of the sandy beach.

We are just on our way home from Hamilton island and the island itself was as enjoyable as I expected . However we experienced the worst possible service from the female bar staff member at the pool bar on Sunday the 27th March at approx 4 pm . I know they were busy and were under pressure so waited patiently... More

The attraction of a pool side bar, as opposed to one where you have to get out of the water, is clearly the selling point here. Happy Hour only included a select few cocktails and the nicer ones (in my opinion) stayed on the main menu at full price. Service was slow and inconsistent which was disappointing as every one... We were staying at a private villa near One Tree Hill, but most days we went here to relax by the pool area. Did not try the cocktails as they looked way too expensive for what you got. Great views of around the pool and Catseye beach. Really easy drive down in golf buggy, park up, easy as. Only thing... More

Right, you all know I'm honest and this will be no different. Surely if you were lucky enough to work in this bar is it technically a job? Customers can be testing at the best of times and I get that but really? Limited cocktail menu served in plastic cups and a few premixed can drinks is all you have... More

The swim up bar was a new experience for me and it is one of those things that you just have to try! Extremely enjoyable and the cocktails were delicious, if a little bit on the expensive side. Despite the price tag, I'd definitely recommend the piña colada!

Conveniently situated to our bungalow in a delightful pool area that has been beautifully landscaped. Easily accessible both by bridge and by water but make sure that you have your door key to get yours refreshments charged to your room. A nice place to relax but prices may be a tad high but the view and the resort do make... More
