Loved Catseye beach, plenty of free sun loungers available under the palm trees and very clear, warm water for swimming. The kayak and SUP hire was fun - plenty available and we saw a huge sea turtle from the kayak too. There are resort pools...More

There is a big difference between high and low tide. If you come at noon, the beach looks good, later in the day water recedes and it becomes very shallow, no chance to swim no matter how far you walk.

Catseye is a beautiful, clean beach. The water is clean and clear. It was a little bit choppy when we stayed but it was great fun.

Catseye Beach is unique in it's location. Surrounded with mountains and calm waters makes it an enjoyable experience. BUT the pebbes are annoying as you walk into the water, so be careful for the first few meters after which you can enjoy a nice swim...More

Glorious beach with clear water and mild waves. Plenty of activities to do off the beach - snorkel, paddle board, catamaran. Lounges scattered along the beach. Beautiful tropical setting.

Midway through our visit, this beach was closed due to a mother and a young girl being attacked by something. The National news reported it as a shark attack, while the official island line was that it was a territorial toadfish. Unfortunately, there was only...More

We went during the Xmas week and the weather was not ideal. It was cloudy, windy with rain. The water was rough at Catseye during high tide, definitely not like the beautiful pictures advertised by the resort operator. We understand its cyclone season this time...More

Sorry just seen this, probably too late but for others We chartered a boat and swam off that not off the shore and just to warn everyone needed stinger suits. Pretty mandatory for when we were there in February.
