Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful garden to explore. The gardens weave you through different aspects of Japanese gardens. You will also see some very large Koi in lively colours. Make sure you add this to your Castle visit.

What a surprise to visit what could be something you'd see in Japan. As soon as you step through the traditional gated entry there is a different sensibility to the view, with stone lanterns, manicured trees, a teahouse, the sand garden and places to sit and meditate on the smallest scene or the bigger picture.

Although small, these gardens are really nice to visit and do provide a place to relax. The turtles were amazing and it was relatively easy to get to via free bus and a small walk. Lots of cafes nearby too.

Found this place on trip advisor and decided to check it out. The Japanese garden was tranquil, quiet and beautiful. You will enjoy the small but spectacular gardens. Take the time to explore and rest awhile.

A great place to visit with children as easy walks and the pond with turtles the kids just loved. If in Adelaide this is a great space to spend an hour or two.

These gardens are in South Terrace and have a Japanese lake, fountain and garden. It is a traditionally styled Japanese garden, a gift from Adelaide's sister city, Himeji in 1982. It was refurbished in 1986.

Even though it was winter and the trees were bare, the greenness and the water were still lovely. New planting was taking place in the bare patches and promises a lovely spring display.

Just love this little piece of paradise at the southern end of the city of Adelaide.
Peaceful & serene - always changing with the seasons.
Small garden but well worth the visit.

Beautiful oasis in the heart of the city. Tastefully laid out. Tranquil. A quiet place to reflect or read a book. Or just stroll around.

The garden appears underwhelming in reality despite looking appealing in pictures. Although it is designed in a non-Western style, its petite size makes it seem incongruous.
