I love Henley Beach and more precisely Henley Square. It's changed over the years but I think it's more family friendly now and has a great atmosphere. The Greek restaurant that my husband and I ate at was pretty nice too and popular. There is a supermarket nearby, cafes and you can go for pleasant walks along the beach front... More

I lived close to Henley Square when Henley Beach was a dump. The square and the suburb has been made over with trendy coffee shops and eateries. Unfortunately parking is a nightmare so you may wish to catch the bus. Great fountain in the square for the kids. Also some of the establishments cannot see people over the age of... More

This used to be only one step up from shabby Semaphore, but the new shady area, benches and modern dressing facilities, along with budding restaurants, or at least renovated ones, means Henley is reviving. Good thing, as we need an alternative to Glenelg, especially further up North

We took the tram to the beach, there was a beautiful white sand beach and a great playground for the kids. A great many restaurants to choose from

Now with the plaza renovation it's a great place to visit, picnic on the grass, watch the sea, visit the many restaurants or cafes. Great spot.

Walked through sq to reach Stella's rest....................no protection from cold wintery conditions. Know that City Charles Sturt spent MILLIONS $ on recent upgrade. Very good in summer, hopeless in winter.................upgrade value for money....extremely poor. Lighting not good with many un even walk ways
