Roy Rene’s life-size statue almost blends in. It is a high quality casual monument of this late - apparently very popular - Australian iconic comedian. It is standing on the sidewalk and there is information plaque right next to it. I was not very familiar...More

I had no idea who Roy Rene was before checking out this statue; a comedian who seemed to entertain people in this continent. Visit if you’re in the vicinity or know this past comedian, the statue itself is not that special.

Have you ever wondered what The Mo Awards are all about? Well, he is the Australian Comedian that gave them the name. These kind of statues are all over Adelaide & provide perfect photo opportunities for tourists.

I am not sure who Roy Rene is? The statue is ok I guess, something to see as you head to Rundle Mall.

I only came across this statue from the other Trip Advisor reviewer, and I'm glad I did. It's a great statue plaque to Roy 'Mo' Rene on Hindley St (in front of Priceline) and the plaque provides a description on who Roy is and this...More
