Josephine's Gallery is a 'MUST SEE' whilst in Coober Pedy. Wander through the impressive ABORIGINAL ART GALLERY, play a DIDGERIDOO, choose a beautiful OPAL from our extensive range or KISS A KANGAROO. Our passion is raising orphaned kangaroos and we offer you the opportunity to see these amazing creatures up close and maybe even hold a baby. Feeding times daily at 12 noon and 5:30pm. Don't be late!

An amazing experience meeting the kangaroos, seeing the orphaned baby kangaroos, seeing the Aboriginal art and even if you are lucky meeting Tommy Crow the Aboriginal artist and Didgeridoo player. The art here is fantastic and impossible to resist buying!

The proprietor here taught us more about Aboriginal culture and artefacts in thirty minutes than we could ever have hoped to learn in school. A very genuine display run by genuine and knowledgeable people.

We visited and saw the artist painting, the talk and the demonstration was so good that we purchased art works and then visited again on our way home (when others also purchased art works and other items including bush medicine).
