A bit of a drive to get there and would avoid on a rainy day unless I had a good 4WD as the roads got a little slick. Great little spot for a picnic and some heritage. Views were okay but better when down the...More

What an amazing place. Lots of history and stories. Mick the Ranger was the best REAL tour guide we've come across and made it fun for adults and kids. Topped off with a cannon firing at 1pm. Thanks Mick was great 👍

As long as you drive to the conditions, you will be rewarded with a great piece of history, a terrific ranger and an insight into the hardships faced many decades ago. 30kms of corrugated road?? Sure some sections were, but most wasn't .
