This place was amazing, really easy walk to get to the falls on an old tram track. Due to the heavy rain fall we had a spectacular waterfall. The suspension bridge was great to walk over and the beautiful wet greenery everywhere was delightful. This...More

The Montezuma Falls are totally worth the long walk there! It is a fairly flat walk, just a long way. Lush rainforest all the way along.

Beautiful walk through the rainforest. It’s very flat, and takes about 3 hours round trip. Well worth a stop if you’re passing by, as I was!

A long walk, but it is well worth the effort. We sat the re for some time just marvelling at its height and beauty. The walk along the way is awesome through some magnificent treeferns and different types of blackwood, sassasfras and myrtle. Take some...More

The trail used to be a tramway in the 1930's so this route is quite level for most of the route. The tree ferns are gorgeous and we like this trail better than any around Lake St Claire at the South End of Cradle Mountain...More

Signs leading to the car park are very misleading. 4wd ahead, but unclear as to where the non 4wd entrance was. Anyway once found (it’s gravel and only a bit bumpy and uneven) there’s again unclear signs. It’s about 4km to the bridge and falls....More

A very easy return walk along a disused tram way. Walk in, is almost unnoticeable downhill resulting in a very gradual ascent from the falls. Do allow a full 3 hours though because the trailhead advises 4 kilometres one way our walking app put it...More
