We tried for a couple of days to drive up, because of the weather the track was closed. When we finally were able to go up we were not disappointed. The view of the whole of Hobart is stunning. Make the effort

Love this place. You have 360 views all around Hobart & beyond. The weather changes so quickly. It's a beautiful spot for photography. Just missing a coffee van !

Well worth the 30 min drive from Hobart. Lovely clear day so great views from the top. Snow on the ground added to the whole experience.

It is a half-day trip starting from downtown to the Mountain. It gives a panoramic view of the city. It is worthy for first time visitor.

We went to Mt Wellington with a small tour group. The driver's commentary was very good. The views from the top were amazing. We were fortunate to have light winds and a clear day.

There are stairs down to the lower viewing platforms, so it's not 100% accessible. But you won't be missing out by not going to these. As the others said, take very warm clothes.

Easiest way is to book a tour with gray line tours. Hire a car 🚗 if you wish to see the sunrise or drive up there yourself
