This is a great drive to follow the convict trail. Don't forget to head to Hunter Street area to see the 'Footsteps' Irish woman convict statues. Awesome. Cascade Female Factory, the Ross Female Factory. 1-7 days if you do both North and South locations.

The Convict Trail is basically a drive that starts with crossing the Tasman Bridge in Hobart and leaving the city and then heading for the lovely and historic town of Richmond, and finally departing from Richmond to the coastal former penal colony of Port Arthur....More
