Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did this tour from a cruise boat. The tour through Hobart was fine on our way to Mt Wellington. Beautiful view- but you froze getting out. The highlight was the Hobart Gardens. I walk with a stick so a golf buggee was supplied. The volunteer driver was very knowledgable. There were lots of themed areas. We saw Japanese and New Zealand areas. We saw where parts of Gardening Australia is filmed. A terrific coverage. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent intensive introduction to Hobart. I particularly enjoyed the Botanical Gardens, the gravestones from early European settlement at St David Park (if I have that name right), the Aboriginal section of the museum, and Battery Point. Well paced, with most of the walking in the morning and both a short morning tea and an hour lunch break. Would recommend it to anyone just in Hobart for a few days.

Thanks to Peter Ernst, proprietor of Premier Travel Tasmania, we, family of 6 (3 children, aged 24, 19,19) set off on Urban Adventures' day-long walking tour of Hobart. The tour's highlight was Peter, our guide and the many fascinating stories and anecdotes he shared whilst taking us through the Botanical Gardens, the Glebe, Battery Point, the Lark Brewery, the Tasmanian Museum and all these little side streets, many of which can claim their own moment in the history of this country. Even our children were gob-smacked by what they learnt. If you can walk and don't mind getting a very personal insight into Hobart's history, instead of jumping on and off an overcrowded air-conditioned bus, I can thoroughly recommend Urban Adventures Hobart day tour!

If you have a day to waste in Hobart, capital of Tasmania, I can highly recommend the city tour with the mob of Hobart Urban Adventures. Our day tour, courtesy of Peter Ernst, proprietor of Premier Travel Tasmania, started with a very informative walk through Hobart's beautiful Botanical Gardens with its fascinating Antarctica House. The Glebe and Battery Point, both with their interesting histories were next on the agenda and our friendly guide Peter shared many not-so-well-publicized stories and anecdotes on the way. Whilst we needed a day to recovery from our day-long history-crawl, we, including our three children (aged 25, 19 (twins) thoroughly enjoyed our urban adventure. A big thank you goes to our guide, Peter and Peter Ernst for his generosity.
