You can't miss this, it's absolutely gorgeous, not the easiest place to get too and be careful in winter for black ice and slippery roads but the result is breathtaking!

The Eaglehawk Hangliding Lookout is reached by a rough gravel road, 8k's up from Eaglehawk Neck, beginning just south of the town. The last 3 or 4 kilometres has lots of very deep potholes that really need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there....More

The View is great, overlooking Pirate Bay but the drive in is on a single lane dirt road; the last section of which when I drove in was only suitable for high clearance 4 wheel drives - so I parked and walked the last section....More

Offers one of the best views of one of the best surf beaches in Tasmania. Worth taking a 15 minute stroll to the beach and marvel at the Tessellated Pavement rock formations.

One of the best lookouts in Tasmania (my opinion but supported by an interstate friend and "she who must be obeyed"). We had a clear sunny day and the view was spectacular over Eaglehawk Neck, Pirates Bay and DOO Town (and almost New Zealand).

Great view - take binoculars and drive slowly uo to the lookout .Have ice creams at the food van at the Caves and waterfall - lunch food is a bit greasy and ordinary but great if you've been surfing or bushwalking .
