Hobart is full of so many old, beautiful buildings. While this is old and beautiful, it somehow gets lost when compared to the others. Worth walking past as you go on a walking tour of all the old buildings.

Having been invited to a launch of a new community initiative we had the honor to see inside this historic site. It can be accessed by the public under strict conditions so ring and go.

Quite a large building, restricted entrance, but worth having a look from around it. Great strategic location.

A remarkable building to house the policy makers of the State. A heritage building with great photo opportunities. Take a beer at the nearby hotel and look back at the building, then the port that it overlooks.

This place is secured like an airport and not welcoming by any stretch of the imagination. The security people look down their nose at you as you walk by and I don't even know if visitors are allowed in.

Please do note that I'm not writing reviews for the Parliament House but the performance surrounding the Parliament House on Saturdays alongside Salamanca Market deserve credit & applause. Really great performance! Free for all to feel the music! Love it!

The best time to visit is Question Time in the House of Assembly when you get into the public gallery but if your local Member will take you on a tour, you'll get to see some of the history, including the dungeons underneath when it...More
