The artwork in Hosier Lane, and the tiny alleyways feeding off it, is constantly changing and evolving. From the topical to general art, the imagery is forever changing to reflect the times. Most of it is street art, a bit is graffiti and there's always...More

Full of Grafitti in a short lane, but this is not the only one lane has street art. (Maybe it has the most Grafitti) If you have time, try to walk nearby street, you will find some more.

Well known laneway for street art. Expect confrontation, colours and questions. Go mid week and avoid crowds of people wanting to take photos of all the same things. Make it a casual affair and less 'destination'.

Even if Grafitti isn’t your thing, Hosier Lane is just amazing. Melbourne is an art Mecca. take the guided walk up the lanes of Melbourne. It’s worth the time and you’ll be amazed at the Art

I love the artistic ingenuity of Melbourne where they showcased their creativity in the graffiti walls. Their artistic side made Melbourne an art city and instead of a disgrace to the cleanliness of the city, it raveled as a tourist haven for art lovers like...More

I’m not a fan of general tagging or defacing people’s property but I LOVE this lane. If you can see past the tagging here and there, there is some beautiful artwork. Worth a walkthrough.

I am guessing the turnover of Art in this little lane is quite high... you could go one week and the next you will see many different artworks than before. This makes it hard to review this place, it's been about 2 weeks since I...More

Don’t believe the hype. The walls are covered in street art, some of it is good but the majority is not, unfortunately.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

It's just an open street so no closing time. I wouldn't recommend going after dark -- you won't be able to see all the art and it does have a few lurkers.
