The current bridge was opened in 1888 and replaced a previous bridge built in 1851. It joins St Kilda Road to Swanston Street and affords good photo opportunities of the River, the city and Southbank. The bridge does not sit very high above the Yarra...More

Thousands of people cross this pretty bridge everyday without stopping and enjoying the views. Great spot to look down river in both directions. Has nice ornaments as well

This is another bridge.A place to hang around and enjoy the view and take some photos. You go past a few times on your tour of the city.

Princes Bridge is a functional bridge in the centre of Melbourne. It's a really beautiful spot and the views from there are actually spectacular on a good day, over the Yarra river. The bridge is quite busy, being so close to the train station as...More

This bridge is a functional bridge but not a beautiful one It is old in comparison to others being built around the late 19 century and is perfect for photographic shots of the river or the Southbank

tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
