Hamer Hall is Australia's premier, multi-level concert venue, playing host to a year-round range of performances from some of the biggest national and international artists across jazz, rock, pop, multicultural, chamber, classical, cabaret and contemporary music. Hamer Hall is home to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and is the preferred Melbourne performance venue for the Australian Chamber Orchestra. The venue originally opened in 1982 and underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2010, re-opening in 2012. Hamer Hall is one of Arts Centre Melbourne's venues.

A matinee of the MSO performing Beethoven's Eroica in this beautiful venue was just perfect. Great seats overlooking conductor Sir Andrew Davis pull the strings and make magic happen. A fantastic way to spend a wintery afternoon in Melbourne.

1 hour of entertainment that is good value and very enjoyable.Several sessions to book during the year . These include singers, ballet( students) and theater. Recommended to couples ,families and people who are on their own. Great experience

Came here for the Studio Ghibli in concert by Joe Hisaishi and the MSO. We sat in the stalls on the ground level, just a few rows away from the stage, which was great because we could see the conductor, orchestra, and singers really clearly....More
