i have visited this venue three times and always found the food very good and i am a fussy eater. The staff were friendly. Its just like being in an old English pub with all the pictures.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon in Melbourne this Pub was a welcome retreat hoping for a couple of drinks and perhaps some lunch watching the game on TV .... Not so!... Whilst ordering drinks it was apparent that we were an inconvenience for the bar...More

Basement gem pub. English styled sports bar. Great service and top beers on tap, including Guinness. Fantastic place to relax and savour an ale pr pub meal off busy Collins Street.

Nice downtown pub. Not too noisy or rowdy. The shepard's pie was tasty and the steak sandwich was excellent. But the list of available beers on draft was much too short.

Went in for a quick lunch and beer. OK place in a basement opposite the Flinders Street train station. The fish and chips OK and draft beer is fine too.... No complaints!

Good choice of beers including a weekly special (cheap by Melbourne prices). Plenty people eating though we didn't, staff very good.

I don't generally give bad reviews but I was unfortunately very disappointed. We stopped in for an evening drink. It was about 7.30pm and the place was empty. And I mean empty....we were the ONLY two people in there. That's ok though as I prefer...More

Tucked away in a downstairs location is a taste of England. Great range of drinks, excellent meals and ever so helpful manager and staff. Well worth the visit. Thanks

A reasonable selection of different beers and fairly popular spot even on a Thursday night. Probably wouldn't have gone in if we hadn't been with a local friend.

Tramping around Melbourne on a Monday evening, I saw a tiny staircase at the back of an arcade with a sign, and my curiousity led me down. I enjoyed a pint of Guinness, & decided to stay for their 450g aged Porterhouse steak. Forced to...More
