This is probably the major North South road in Melbourne's CBD running from Victoria St to Flinders Street where, after crossing Princess St Bridge it becomes St Kilda Road for another 10 or so Kms Unlike Collins St and Bourke St, Swanston street which are...More

Swanston was a vibrant shopping street with a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. It stretches from Flinders Street Station to Melbourne Univeristy.

Nice area of the city. Plenty of shopping options. Good market. Was pretty busy with plenty of dining options in the vicinity.

This is two streets of stalls kind of shops. Nothing special. If you have time and closeby visit otherwise give it a miss.

This so-called Sunday market is nothing more than a wide area over 2 streets or so, permitting kerb side sale and promotion and overflow of displays from shops onto pedestrian walk. Whilst interesting to see, the downside is the crowd and human traffic jam that...More

The description of this location and attraction is poor. Please do not expect a traditional market (like Victoria Market) along Swanston St on Sunday. It is a very nice walk along both sides of the street. Flinders St to Franklin St

Not actually a market that i had in mind. More like a 'busy' street to me. A good way to pass your time around the city and there were street performances along the way.
