As the closest major mountain range to the city of Melbourne, the Observatory has been a popular tourist attraction for over 100 years. Also referred to as the Mount Dandenong Lookout, it is located off the Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd between the towns of Olinda...More

My family and I drove all the way to the top of Mt Dandenong to show our children one of our favorite spots growing up. Well when we got there we were amazed that they now charge people for the privilege of seeing what for...More

This review is for the cafe below the restaurant, not the restaurant. The setting couldn't be better, with obviously spectacular views-- on a clear day. Even with binoculars it's difficult to make out landmarks apart from the tall city buildings, and the reference quide, poorly...More

On a recent Sunday morning we paid the $7 car entry fee to enter the park. Fantastic views and lovely gardens. Worth the money for the views. Plenty of walks.

First you are greeted with a $7 entry fee. This is just to let you in and to give you the opportunity to pay for more of their things. $7 gets you in to see the view that a lot of other lookouts give for...More

Even in the depths of winter, this facility is an awesome option for a senior high school formal. Catered brilliantly for the students’ needs, the atmosphere on the cold, crisp and slightly foggy night was idyllic.

Absolutely disgraceful - the only thing Sky High is the absurd entry fee of $7. No other viewpoint with such pitiful views would have the audacity to charge an entrance fee - indeed, many others with far more amazing views do not, for instance Mount...More

$7 car entry as of now but worth it to stroll around the grounds and take in the beautiful views from up there. We had lunch at the bistro up there and ate outside which was lovey. Food is basic but good There and BBQ...More

They have more car park space than gardens. Went and the secret garden was closed but still take $7 and do not tell you that it was closed. Then you have to pay an additional $7 per person to do the maze. The view is...More
