Spent an hour wandering through some of the exhibits here today and enjoyed those on offer. The staff were warm and welcoming and the place continues to offer a variety of things to do.

Another place we always visit it Melbourne and this time we also went to the Brett Whiteley exhibition. The icing on the cake was the Japanese dancers in the centre who kept us all enthralled.

Firstly - free entry - tick. Secondly - award winning artists - tick. Thirdly - indigenous artists - tick. 3 big ticks. Make sure you visit.

The Ian Potter Centre always showcases excellent quality artworks, often a little quirky and truly representative of Australian art and creativity. The indigenous artworks are always fascinating to view, as well as the other art works displayed throughout the gallery.
