Worth checking when this tour takes place. Very interesting, only the building but the history was fascinating.

the building is partly under cover and wrap as it is being renovated. It would be veyr good if it got opened up to the public on a regular basis. it is in a marvelious position in melborune in the middle of magnificent gardens

What a waste, this magnificent building is a huge part of Australia's heritage, yet it remains locked.

With its domed roof and cruciform layout all in sandy coloured stone this royalty approved exhibition hall is well worth a look , the gardens are lovely and being next door to the super modern museum it provides a great contrast.

Rightly the first building in Australia to be awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. Hosts the Melbourne Flower Annually. Worth a look after visiting Melbourne Museum and the gardens
