A lovely walk through the Exhibition Gardens at night with lots of possums and beautifully lit fountains and buildings.

A great afternoon spent looking through Captain Cooks cottage, the Fairy tree the miniature Tudor Villagge. The beautiful ponds and water features make this a lovely afternoon with children. Can also recommend the Pacvilion a confortable place for coffee and lunch

The garden is tidy. Melbourne city area does have a rich assorted variety of plants. Even supposedly national flower of Malaysia (Hibiscus) grows much bigger here in Melbourne.

Too many gardens - the Royal Botanical, Fitzroy and so many more. We are not really garden people but we spent a lot of time wandering in the gardens. You will come across families playing cricket.
