Nestled in the Mount Dandenong, Sherbrooke Forest is a great place to BBQ and gone for an easy walk to the small but very nice waterfall. Great for families and friend, good parking, toilets but no bins so you need to take your rubbish away...More

I visited by accident- the place I was going was closed due to inclement weather. Sherbrooke Forest was a fantastic substitute. Gorgeous trees and a tranquil environment, well worth a visit. It was so relaxing and I was in awe at how tall some of...More

Lovely walk through the forest, and easy to find the car park. On a bank holiday it can be very busy but I'd imagine every other day you'd get a nice walk to yourself.

No where to park, not much signage. Fair walk to the waterfall, and wasn’t much of a “waterfall”. Beautiful trees and greenery though.

this is a moderately difficult hike with some steep sections, but mostly shaded. You will hear a lot of birds and see some wonderful trees and waterways. A great way to rejuvente yourself!

We took a bus tour that included a stop at Sherbrook Forest as I had read about the possibility of seeing some wild, native birds. It was raining lightly, causing the guide to say he wasn't sure if there would be any birds there or...More

The forest contains some lovely walks, particularly through the impressively tall mountain ash, or through the more open areas with views of fern gullies. There are also opportunities to view the local wildlife: For example, I was there today and saw a lyrebird and a...More
