Small lane way bar, upstairs with super friendly staff serving an interesting array of beers including a smoky bacon type and all your usual favourite tipples. Superb playlist of classic 60s/70s songs. Enjoyable. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We stumbled upon this very interesting bar after dinner at Hochi Mama (a few doors away). Weirdly, the entrance is marked with a bicycle mounted against the wall. My cyclist husband proclaimed it a sign - we have to go in. (Inside not a bicycle...More

This place was a cool little find. The city of Melbourne begs to be explored and pretty often you will find a cool little joint like the New Golden Mountain. Just a bar, a bar man and a room big enough to fit maybe 30...More

We popped into this great bar whilst waiting for our table to be ready at the popular Rice Paper Scissors restaurant next door. The atmosphere was great and our cocktails were delicious! We'd go there again.

This is my new fave cocktail bar in Melbourne. It's small, it's cosy and it looks fantastic. There's a fire to warm yourself by as Melbourne starts to cool down and it is open pretty late. It's hard to spot so just look for the...More

Really liked the 'green level' of this bar. Very cosy and relaxing interior, and even had a intimate/romantic atmosphere, with dim lighting and blues music. Good drinks as well.

It's next to rice paper scissors if you're familiar with that. 3 floors, we tried to go to the top which looked the best but we're told it was closing so settled on the second floor by the log fire. The dandelion cocktail was not...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
