Got shut down from our roadside drinks and moved into a grubby garden bar to accomodate smokers. Really in this century!! If you want people to keep drinking on a Sunday afternoon clean up your back area and be more accomodating. There is a reason...More

This place was recommended by friends so we rolled up at 8ish. Friendly attentive service with intimate dining areas if required. Two fillet steak meals and one carbonara. Excellent. A lovely Pinot Noir to accompany. It's on our list.

We have been going to Jimmy Watson's for years and have always enjoyed it. The amount of food on the main course plate during the last three visits has reduced considerably compared to previous visits. Expect to leave hungry if you just order a main...More

Went for a Christmas catch up lunch with adult children and partners Host could not have been helpful. All round we all enjoyed our food. Wait staff friendly and attentive. I could not fault we are already planning a return visit.

The food has gone off here - the risotto was flavourless, for example. Also, the house Shiraz was over the hill, wel past it’s best.

This is an excellent spot for dinner when you want a break from fine dining and have little appetite for the tired Lygon St restaurants. The food menu changes offering a good range of well executed meals. There is also more wines on offer by...More

Lygon Street
If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated
over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the
place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to
the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who
started their day with a local espresso. They are
gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this
Little Italy which has something for everyone.

Sorry, no idea. I can recommend some wines in Provence, which is where I am now. Perhaps you could call Jimmy Watsons and ask what Italian roses they serve. Good luck.
