The work carried out by the Australian Tapestry Workshop is outstanding. Pieces hang in many major building throughout Australia. Seeing how the huge pieces are created is most interesting. Use the website to see when guides tours are offered.

Had the pleasure of attending this gem of creative Melbourne recently. The incredibly detailed and exquisitely crafted tapestries are a delight to behold. A collaborative workspace encourages the continuation of this important art form in a contemporary context.
