Come here on every trip to Melbourne, always something new and the live performances on most Fridays are worth the effort. Saw Nick Cliff last Friday performing some blues and it was a great way to spend an early afternoon.

Easy to find in Melbourne's best arcade (Block Arcade), it has the best collection of cd's and vinyl you could imagine, so many obscure discs that are so hard to find and a wonderful live performance every Friday.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
