This is one of my favourite places to relax in Melbourne. I especially like the gardens in Autumn. At this time of year, the colours are beautiful.

Friends and I visited early May and the gardens were so beautiful! All of the autumn leaves were falling. We went for a walk around there’s heaps of places to sit on the grass and there’s a basketball court and playground behind the museum.

The Elm avenues in the park are now starting to lose their leaves. Some of the plants are still flowering as we head into Winter. On a sunny day the walk through the park is still beautiful.

Absolutely the gardens of Melbourne contribute to making it the most liveable city in the galaxy. Amid the turmoil of the city buzz it is tranquility personified.
