Beautiful sky & sea views. Took the guided tour up the lighthouse (176 flights of stairs). Guide was friendly & informative. It is an experience to stand on top of the lighthouse feeling the very strong winds & looking at the amazing ocean & where the 2 seas meet. Area is clean & well maintained. There's an audio tour too... More

How could anyone resist seeing the spot where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet!--at Cape Leeuwin, the most southwesterly point in Australia, also with a magnificent lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper's cottage. Windy, and gorgeous even when it rains (as it did when I was there).

We visited Cape Leeuwin on our way to Margaret River and was a pleasant stop off point with lots of history, ocean views and great little coffee shop.

The lighthouse precinct was well organised and well signposted. The audio tour was full of interesting information about the lighthouse history and the lives of the keepers and their families who worked there

We have been taking visitors to the Cape for 25 years, most recently a month ago. Its reasonably scenic and in spring there is the bonus of whale spotting. It's something to do in the morning before visiting the wineries after lunch in Augusta. On our last visit I was surprised to be charged to enter the grounds. Had we... More

We arrived after a scenic ride from Margaret River on our first trip to the stunning South west. We enjoyed the glorious views of the oceans (!) and the size of the waves crashing onto the rocks below. The lighthouse was stunning against the vivid blue sky and we learned that it had been built by a Cornishman (not sure... More

This historic light station includes the lighthouse (one of the tallest in Australia), power plant, keepers residences and gift shop. Located at the southwestern-most point of Australia, this is where the South and Indian Oceans meet with a wide variety of marine mammals, including annual whale migrations. The site is well maintained and the audio tour is well worth the... More

WOW where the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet and on a rough day you can actually see the interaction of the waves. Windy and cold but worth taking a look. There are other points of interest in the vicinity which are worth having a look at. Actually you can do it as part of the Margaret River tour.... More

The sunset along the coast to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is beautiful. You can stop by along the coast to take photos. My family and I didn't manage to go to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in time, so we just take some picture of the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse from the entrance. But the view of sunset at the coast of... I enjoyed my visit to the Cape. The scenery is terrific and I took some great coastal photos complete with stormy looking sky. It is interesting to see the point where the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean join and then there is the obligatory selfie standing next to the sign which shows the point where they converge. I see... More
