lovely

I found that the beach could be anywhere in Austalia during the day but as the sun went down and set over the water it was lovely

I initially dismissed Roebuck Bay as an area to stay in Broome, opting for Cable Beach area instead. However, when I saw how breathtakingly beautiful the bay was and how impossibly blue the water is - I regretted my decision. If anyone was to ask me where to stay in Broome, I would say definitely somewhere that is overlooking Roebuck... More

Go on any of the many cruises on offer, but focus on the SNUBFIN DOLPHINS. Only identified as a species in 2005, they are rare but cute as, and frolic around the boat. You will see turtles, sea eagles and other marine birds, the occasional bottlenose dolphin (yawn), flying fish, and see Broome landscape as William Dampier saw it in... More

More shorebirds stop off here on their migration than anywhere else in Australia so it's a great spot to see them and if you combine with the Broome Bird Observatory then you can hire a guide and learn a lot.

Great beach for photography, watching the sunset, fossicking amongst the rocks, having a quick dip in the water, fishing, walking, sun bathing or just sightseeing.

the bay is very large, the water is lovely to see, the whole region is so calming on a nice day, and no crocodiles seen

A beautiful bay. Very scenic and picturesque. The sunrises over the water here. On nights with a full moon the ripples on the bay create the famous stairway to the moon. You can also marvel at the king tides here a low tide at 6am becomes a high tide at noon with a difference of 10m in water level. Nature... More

We walked from Moonlight Bay Resort, along the path past Matso's (stopped for a beer on the way home), explored Bedford Park (lots of memorials), spent some time at the 'blackbirding' memorial on the bay side of the road opposite Bedford Park (you must explore the history behind this memorial), then onto the Museum (well worth a visit - find... Went there when the tide was nearly out and they younger ones could play around in the shallows. Tried to swim out to some rocks out on the right and scared myself half to death swimming half a meter from a stingray barb as it shot off.. Amazing to see the tide not long after go out past the rocks... More
