Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice area of foreshore to walk along as it follows the mangroves & the curves of the bay.
Bring insect repellant as midges (sand fleas) live in all mangrove areas & they bite!
Lots of blue colours which are lovely to witness as the tide goes in and out a long way. A pretty spot to spend some time looking around.
Also very beautiful to be seen from the air.

Wow - a visit here is a must for any nature lover or photo enthusiast. The colours are insane. Best to visit at low tide.

Roebuck Bay is on the eastern side of the peninsula and provides the contrast to the ocean western side which includes cable beach. The tidal flows in the bay are fascinating and at the coincidence of the full moon and low tide a magnificent display is provided by the golden moon rising over the exposed mudflats. It projects a golden stairway to the moon for a period of about an hour and viewing spots are at a premium. We were fortunate to be staying in an apartment overlooking the event . We also went on a cruise which included an amphibious vehicle from the beach to the cruise boat and viewing of the marine life in the bay including turtles, sea snakes, snub fin dolphins and whales. Well worth doing as the commentary is provided by a marine biologist.

The highlight of my visit was the sunset cruise on Roebuck Bay. The dolphins and turtles swam in the Bay while we had drinks and nibbles and watched a stunning sunset.

Just spent a week in Broome. Stayed over Cable Beach side but only went to Cable Beach twice. Once for a sunset bbq on the beach and a camel ride. All the other times we were at or around Roebuck Bay. There isn't really much going on at Cable Beach.

Roebuck Bay is Broome's best beach. This is the spot to see stairwy to the moon, and on the designated night a market takes place to add to the atmosphere. The Roebuck Bay caravan park fronts direcly onto the beach.Easily Broome's nicest park. O.K. it's a litle old but all amenities are clean ,sites are spacious and the staff are friendly

Go when the rising full moon is reflecting on the tide on the muddy beach, the moonlight is divided into one step. Simply beautiful. Plus it’s a birds paradise.

The view to the East and the South East provides a spectacular sunrise view and complements the views at dusk as the sun sets.
Great photo opportunity but take insect repellent and at least one spare battery and camera card.

We actually stayed in an apartment right on the edge of the Beach at Roebuck Bay. We were able to watch the last Staircase to the Moon from our balcony which was just wonderful. We were up very early each morning to watch the sun rise over the water which was a special sight as well. Great place"

If your in Broome on the full moon, this is a must do, go early and secure a good viking location. Enjoy the moon rising over Roebuck Bay and the reflection across the mud flats. Take your camera or iPhone, but please ... TURN YOUR FLASH OFF !!
