This beach is great and you can drive on it if you have/rent a 4x4. We loved watching the sunset, having barbecues during the weekend and riding camels. Just be careful during the wet season and don't swim in the water because there are jellyfishes and crocs. During the dry season is full of tourists but you can still enjoy... More

Fabulous experience. The natural amphitheatre attracted a large audience with the stage positioned for maximum audience. Fabulous artists and the farewell of Sammy the dragon. Children wandered around and food vans provided a great variety of food and great Kimberley coffee. At the end of the concert, fireworks were let off from the Beach. You felt as though you were... One of the best beaches in WA! Drive on there if you like, wide sandy beach, clean beautiful ocean with modest waves, ideal for children or older visitors.

Cable Beach is a great long stretch of almost unpopulated sand (well it was when we were there), with absolutely stunning views. One of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches I have ever been to. Up the top end there are plenty of restaurants and bars, you can hire sun loungers and boogie boards, while down the far side it... More

Cable Beach is one of the must visit locations when you go to Broome. The sand is expansive and so soft and white. There is a long stretch of sand and you probably need to check to see if it is safe to swim as there could be jelly fish in the waters depending on the time of the year.... More

Stupidly blue color water. But has a lot of waves so is hard to swim there. Is great for a long long walk in the sunset. Take care of the jellyfish from october to april. But maybe you can see baby turtles walking to the water! Great spot for relax in the sand

This is my second trip to Broome and Cable Beach. What can I say? Well, to be honest, Cable Beach has got to be one of the best beaches in the country. Miles of clean sand with crystal clear water which is surprisingly warm. As it is off peak at present, there are only a handfull of people on the... More
