This is a unique experience. You sit in an old fashioned deck chair and watch the film with the odd plane flying overhead. Only one thing, take your insect spray but this is little compared with the visit. Once we saw Bran Nue day there and it just seemed the right place

Up to date films shown once or twice every evening, even through the low season. Good quality sound and picture for an outdoor cinema, with comfortable seats and friendly staff. Popcorn and other snacks available too. Nice treat while I wa son holidays in Broome

Great night out for the family. We just watched a 6:30pm movie: Red Dog True Blue and it was an amazing setting. Definitely worth a visit.

This is one for the bucket list. Don't worry if it rains (as it did for us) because there is undercover seating as well. Good fun.

Glad to see something like this has survived, what a great thing for the town. Plenty of shelter from the rain, the only thing was it was difficult to hear the movie when it rained and the inside speakers needed turned on or up.

A truly amazing experience! Sit back on a deckchair (maybe bring a cushion!) and enjoy a movie under the stars with the added excitement of low-flying planes, bats, and geckos scurrying across the screen!

I was transported back in time while visiting the Sun Pictures Cinema. It's one of the iconic buildings in Broome and it's awesome that they are preserving it. The seats are not very comfortable, but a cushion would make a difference. A very enjoyable experience!

I loved this experience, it was so unique but my sister doesn't like bats or lizards or sand flies so unfortunately for her it was not an enjoyable experience. In fact we had to leave part way through which was a shame. I still recommend it for people who want to experience something different

The chairs are old but quirky. Prices are comparable and all the snacks and popcorn you want are there. The screen is huge and it feels so good to be watching a movie outdoors. Bats fly around oversea and there are lizards on the screen. But this all adds up to an unforgettable experience. Truly original and great fun.
