Beautiful setting for a war memorial. Very well thought out design and lovely to walk around. The memorial is not only about the first and second world war's. It commemorates many others.

Kings Park War memorial is a must see for visitors to Perth. Its a place to honour our fallen heroes and reflect on the sacrifices made on our behalf. It is a fitting place for these brave men to rest, with the backdrop of the magnificent park, with wonderful views of Perth and the Swan

This is a beautiful place, with amazing views of the city, Swan River and to the hills. The war memorial itself is very moving, and honours West Australian's lost in all conflicts. Underneath their names are on the wall so if you have relatives who served you can probably find them there. Further up the hill is the eternal flame,... More

Very well planned & maintained. Stunning situation overlooking the city. All those who have served their country in all the conflicts are paid homage to. A really impressive monument including the eternal flame. I always take my UK relations & friends to King's Park, a truly unique green idyll in a State capital city.

I had more fun than expected because there are hidden treasures. I took an international guest who enjoyed the view but wasn't overly impressed. She's seen many cities. Perth isn't that special, but she was impressed by the memorial's whispering wall. We sat far from each other at opposite ends of the semi-circular wall and spoke in very muted whispers... More

Kings park is a great place to relax by either just seating and watching the world go by or walking around and viewing the different plants and features.
