Even a couple of months before summer officially starts, Hyde Park is beautiful. Lots of greenery and colourful floral beds, and the lake is nice and full, with local bird life enjoying the water. Feature fountains in the middle of the lake give a lovely...More

Having been unaware Hyde Park was within walking distance of our accommodation we were happy to find a lovely lake surrounded by so many mature trees close by. Obviously it is well used by the locals as it was quiet busy with children on playground...More

This is a lovely park to walk around and maybe enjoy a picnic here. Two lakes provide homes for water birds as well as ensuring a pretty backdrop for you Sunday sojourn.

We were there on a weekday afternoon and the weather was great. There wasn't many people at the park. Overall it was a nice little walk after lunch. I would recommend this park if you have time to spare in Perth City.

What an absolutely gorgeous park. This park is huge and my friends who live there told me it was the largest park in the world. Bigger than Central Park in NYC. Many different parts. One was to honor veterans. Another was for children. My favorite...More

This is one of Perth's old parks, beautifully landscaped and maintained, with two lakes (each with an island, safe for the many bird colonies (black swans, swamp hens, different kinds of ducks, ibis, etc.) and, if you've got kids, one of the best playgrounds anywhere....More

We exercise at Hyde Park every couple of days. My hubby uses the machines and I walk laps. Great at moment with the leaves changing color and falling. Few families and other people just walking and talking while enjoying our beautiful autumn weather.

We visited during autumn time so the trees weren't really as colourful or bright as it is in spring. Nonetheless still a nice and clean park to stroll in. A few playgrounds for kids to enjoy. Ducks and swans could be found in the pond....More

Pretty sure. If not, the ground will be covered and the kids can have a ball in them. Try Kings Park if Hyde Park is too thin.
