I went to the clas with my mum, sister and friend and we all loved it! I've been to a pasta class before so wasn't that keen to go but i learnt so much and have put it to use already at home. I would go again as i don't think you could ever learn enough. Sophie was fantastic and... More

We conducted a Thai group cooking class at Taste Budds. We got to select the menu with Sophie's assistance and cook 3 items in the menu. There was a short demonstration at the beginning and then we were off cooking with Sophie helping us as we went. Was a very enjoyable hands on evening and we definitely got our monies... More

The experience shared with me by Sophie Budd was priceless, and has given me so much confidence. I'll be attending more classes. Looking forward to more Rick Stein opportunities . . . Thanks Sophie, you're a great teacher. Lexie

We have attended many classes (gnocchi and pasta, bread making, many many kids classes, bush tucker, Christmas canapés, Christmas party) and have always had a great time, learnt a lot and enjoyed delicious food. We love it so much we even hired the venue, the chef and the staff for my husbands 40th birthday and it was a great event.... More

Paid $100pp for a demonstration at taste budds. Should have spent it at a nice restaurant instead. Thought it was a cooking class but ad was unclear on all booking documentation. Internet did say demo but that you would cook, implying cooking too. Beware and save your money. Food demos looked good, but 100pp is steep.

Attended a dim sum/dumpling demonstration at Taste Budds recently and really enjoyed the evening. Recipe sheets were provided for all that was demonstrated and we were able to sample each type of dim sum/dumpling after it's demonstration. Sophie suggested a number of stores where we could buy various specialty ingredients, which has already proved useful. The steamed pork buns were... More

A group of friends paid $70 each to go to a cooking demonstration at Taste Budds. It was the biggest waste of time and money. It was more like a seminar. The room was packed (which was interesting, as a friend had contacted them the day before to cancel and was given only a $20 refund, and even that was... More
