Such an awesome campus to study in. We had the opportunity to climb the bell tower to take in the view of the beautiful surroundings.

If you enjoy strolling through university campuses ensure you fit in a visit to Winthrop Hall on the University of Western Australia campus. The Hall is one of the Hackett Memorial Buildings funded by the first Chancellor of the University, Sir John Winthrop Hackett and is permanently entered into the Australian Register of Heritage Places. Take the time to go to the University of Western Australia and visit Winthrop Hall. It really is a great building on the campus and encompasses much of Perth's building heritage. If you c an go to the top of the tower for amazing 360 degree views of Perth

I am proud to graduate from UWA and to be able to walk through its halls to collect my scroll. What a wonderful experience! Thank you UWA for the great planning!

Had the opportunity to have a business dinner in this hall. Service was ordinary but what made for a great night was the lovely atmosphere, high ceilings and sense of pride & tradition. There had been a recent graduation ceremony and the wooden floors and shields of other Australian Universities really made the night one to remember.

Winthrop Hall commemorates one of the University of Western Australia's (UWA's) greatest benefactors, John Winthrop Hackett. UWA is now one of Australia's 8 elite "sandstone" universities, but it began as a collection of tin huts in Irwin St, Perth. The "campus at Crawley" attracts some of WA's top students, most of whom will graduate at Winthrop Hall. The hall itself... More

Worth a visit as you walk through the grounds of UWA. The pipe organ and architectural features are majestic.

When I was there visiting a friend who studied at the University of Western Australia (UWA), it felt like one is walking into an ancient structure like the great hall of Hogwarts in the Harry Porter's series.
