Good fun experience with the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful harbour. Gear was in good condition, guide was excellent - engaging, comforting and knowledgeable about where we were going and the history. Very much appreciated the consideration of making the return leg easier than the first leg as we experienced a choppy sea and windy conditions getting there. Would recommend... More

I did the sunset Rangitoto kayak tour and it was well worth the money. The guide was helpful and friendly, the food provided was delicious and at the exact moments we needed the energy and the walk to the top was entertaining and full of surprises. The kayak back at night was unlike anything I had experienced before. The amount... More

We did a full day Rangitoto Island Kayak Tour. Nic was a wonderful guide, we paddle across to Rangitoto where Nic had Muffins and a drink set out for us, we then had a beautiful climb to the top with Nic giving information the entire trip. On return to the bottom Nic had a lovely curry lunch waiting for us.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It was a pleasure to paddle with you and we feel honored that you choose to come kayaking with Auckland Sea Kayaks as you were only in Auckland for a short period of time. Later that evening, I watched your cruise boat leave the harbor which was a great way... More

We phoned to book kayaks for the Te Ara Moana kayak trail as advertised on the website. The woman who answered the phone was adamant that they did not do this tour and did not rent sea kayaks.

The sea kayaking tour to Rangitoto Island exceeded my expectations. Staff was prompt and friendly, and it was clear they are highly trained. The paddle across the bay was fun, even for the complete novices in our group, and the hike to the top of the volcano was beautiful. We had a nice cookout on the shore with our guides.... More

We had the best guides (Logan, Daniel and Jim) who really made the experience so wonderful. We got to have a grear time exploring Rangitoto on our hike, and the lunch and snacks were Amazing. They helped our 16 person group get across and back even when we had struggle. I would recommend this to anyone who comes to Auckland.... More

For those less confident in their kayaking ability, it's worth it to have a professional guide you across to Rangitoto Island. If you're an experienced kayaker though, it's much cheaper to just rent your own kayak and save a bit of money. The journey is challenging but manageable with breaks in the middle. The hike is about 45mins to the... More

Was a great way to explore Waiheke and to enjoy the sunny weather! My partner from Wellington, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending half the day out on the kayaks. There was a nice small group of us overall - was good fun meeting others from overseas and from Auckland too. Kayaking for half the day was unexpectedly not tiring and... More

We were lucky to be the only two booked in for our tour, so enjoyed taking our time to explore and experience the beautiful Waiheke coastline with our friendly guide Nic.

We had a fantastic time last weekend kayaking around the gem that is Waiheke Island! Our guide Nic, was amazing, witty, fun and professional a great combo! We started at Matiatia wharf, which is so handy after coming in on the ferry from Auckland, and kayaked around to stunning Oneroa beach. Along the way, we explored beautiful little caves, gazed...
