If you are a fan of modern art this is a gallery for you to visit. Personally I prefer more classic works and would have loved to have seen more in the gallery.

I really enjoyed visiting this museum. Great diverse artwork spanning from Maori inspired to contemporary art and anything in between.

The museum has a wider collection - many rare "historical/heritage" works of art pertaining to New Zealand
