On a sunny spring day this place was magical, with its pretty flowers and blossoming trees. It is a bit of a climb up the hill to get to.

I stopped here after a morning solo stroll through the city. Lovely little birds flying, people of all kinds to watch. I stopped for a quick little sketch in my sketch book before heading on. Flowers, trees, water fountains, and statues were all so pretty!...More

Several interconnecting walks on slipping terrain but easy to walk and relatively wheelchair friendly. Statues of Queen Victoria and Governor Grey, flower gardens and Long established trees. Close to the city centre but requires an uphill walk to get there. Worth the effort.

With the huge trees , benches , statues , fountain and the garden it serves as an oasis just in the vicinity of the city centre. Many construction ongoing though . Also just beside it are several art galleries and even a library .

This park is a lovely place to spend some time enjoying the gardens and the trees, the fountain, the scene: students, visitors, locals, birds. The trees are especially beautiful here.
