Easy walk. Good views, 360 degrees of Auckland. Two options to walk hard or easy. Crater @ the top. Can see the Sky Tower.

What a great 360 degree view of Auckland. Caught a short bus ride from K Road to Mt Eden (1 section only) with a 1km pretty easy walk to the top. Plenty of fun for the kids to run about and check out the scenery....More

Husband and i walked up which i dreaded ! It was a real mission to walk up but the top was beautiful and the view was amazing. The breeze was so good and the crater looked so interesting to see.

Lots of walking if not on private tour. But view of Auckland at the top is beautiful. Had the think this was a volcano at one time when you look at the crater.

It’s a good steep walk to the top but plenty of places to stop if you need to. The view from the top is fantastic and a good way to get an ides of the layout of the city.

One of the best views in town! It is a long way up, can be a little tiring, but definitely worth it, especially in the sunset :)

Hi, i think it depends on your level of fitness and if you are walking from the road all the way up or from the small car park. A small torch or torch from your mobile is enough to get you up and down safely. We never had... More

Hi. Yep absolutely. It's concreted footpath all the way up. So if you go slow, weather is nice and you are wearing comfortable gear - you will be good as gold! Good luck!;)
