Almost one hundred different tracks. Waterfalls, huge Kauri, coastal views etc. Start your visit at the aratake centre 5-10mins from Titirangi village. Now closed due to local iwi rahui. Kauri Dieback. Please stay away until further notice.

Been there numerous times, plenty of medium rated hikes, all with great view of the Tasman sea, Piha,Muriwai and Bethell beach. Beautiful waterfalls on some of the hikes.

It’s very convenient because it’s only 30 min from Auckland. There were 2 trails to walk - one a nature tail which was a lot of greenery. The Hillary walk had a lookout point. Main reason to come here is for the view.

Visited here as part of an organized tour. Wish we could have spent more time, as the center seemed quite nice. Pleasant visit overall and a chance to see native plants and birds up close.

The national park with its amazing scenes is close to Auckland (30-60 mins driving). I definitely recommend a stop by the information centre to enjoy the panoramic views and have a chat with the helpful staff about where to visit in the park.

Definitely recommend this location. Arataki provides excellent knowledge of the area if you are new here. There are numerous walking trails and the West Coastline Beaches are famous.

It's great anytime of year. Nice and cool in summer and in the wet weather the bush gives off a really special aroma. But have waterproof jackets and good walking shoes, because you will get everytning wet
