Very well run and efficient ferry terminal. Several café and coffee shops nearby and inside this old Victorian building. The cruise ship terminal is close and is an easy walk and is also an easy walk to the business area of central Auckland.

It's close to the cruise ships, on the way to the Maritime museum, so if you are taking a local ferry it's neat, but otherwise unless you are into this kind of transport, seen your time elsewhere.

Interesting to see a Victorian building within the context of modern day skyscrapers that dominate the city centre. Book your water tours here. Also restaurants and souvenir shops.Friendly staff.

The ferry building itself is very nice to look at for a brief few seconds. You may even want to take a photograph. It's obviously pretty old by New Zealand standards. However, after that, there's not much reason to be there unless you want to...More

The architecture of the building what caught my eye I was looking at the building while waiting to get on the ferry. I am happy that the place is still in use and torn down for a glass hotel.

The ferry building offers ticketing services, food, travel information tours, and restrooms. There are street vendors and musicians playing on the sidewalk. Ticket purchases were efficient and signage clearly pointed travelers to the correct berth.

If you like cities and walking the main streets just to look at architecture and the "feel" of a place, this building is a must. If you plan on taking a ferry anywhere, you will likely need to go here and although I could have...More

Walked through this building many times and stopping to get a gelato in the shop sitting looking out of the wharf is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
