We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were staying in a nearby hotel and needed a place for the 3yo to burn off steam. This park is hidden behind the high rise buildings, in a little valley out of the wind. Lots of play structures and public bathrooms.

It is on upper Queen street. I miss the fragrance in the air. At sunset it look the most beautiful. Lie down and relax.

Traveled down what appeared to be an ally, only to come across this beautiful view. We first stopped to take pictures with Donkey Kong, then it opened up with large palm trees, and a statue of Mosis, where the paths looked as if he was parting the seas. I highly recommend checking out this location as it is something that is free to do, and can be done fairly quickly. It is also a very romantic walk for couples.

We stayed in an apartment near by here with my 2.5 year old as husband was in Auckland for work.
My daughter and I went to this park but left very quickly. There was no one there and it’s very hidden. Very creepy vibes. There was a man talking to his hands, smoking and drinking alcohol who then started to wave at us. I felt so unsafe and we left straight away. Even walking down there it didn’t feel safe. The area is dense with unsavoury people.
It’s a shame that even during the day in modern nz you can still feel this unsafe in the city.

This little park is tucked away in a wee valley between Queen Street and Greys Ave.It was close to our hotel and on the route to our conference venue. There is an old Kindergarten building on the Queen street side of the valley and in the bottom is a children's' playpark. the path down from Scotia Place is very steep. There are steps down from Greys Ave. and from the bridge on Mayoral Drive. at the top end of the park are many flights of steps up towards Karangahape Road. Gets the blood pumping in the morning.

Don't go out at night around this park. A lot of drunks/homeless and druggies so not the place to take your kids!!! Lovely park but needs to be more patrolled!!!!

Tucked in behind Upper Queen Street and Greys Avenue is the lovely small Myers Park, basically built in a gully between two ridges. There is a fabulous children's' playground in the centre of the park. We discovered the park as a short cut from our hotel on Greys Avenue through to Queen Street. The park is a little oasis in a busy city.

It is a really nice oasis of green strip of trees and lawn with children play ground in the middle behind rows of concrete buildings and apartments at the two main streets, Queens Street and Greys Avenue. In the middle of Auckland CBD, this park starts just from K-Road (Karanghape Road) behind Shopping arcade, St Kevins Arcade, and stretching to the north finished at Mayoral Drive over bridge, along 400m long really nice walk. This park is positioned at lower level compared to the adjacent roads and creates a nice green valley. A new and good children playground is in the middle with benches for the whole family. The park is canopied with exotic trees including an alley of large palm trees, and also various art works, including marble statue.
Really good and safe place in the daytime, but the criminal scene which has happened at this park recently make this place is not really good place for relax and strolling in the night, not recommended in the night. Easy to be visited using public transport.

Myers Park runs between Karangahape Rd and Queen St and is a lovely alternative walk to the roads. It is a reasonably narrow park but offers a range of opportunities for a walk, children’s playground, seat in the sun and much more. I’ve always found it a safe place to walk but wouldn’t do so at night time.

It was nice to go through this park recently after a long while of not having traversed it. Everything was looking quite spruce and there was even some winter sunshine!
