Auckland Sea Shuttles is a water taxi service offering private ferry transportation between Auckland and many of the islands in the Hauraki Gulf. Steve and his crew also offer guided fishing trips, day/night cruises, beach drop-offs and day charters to major attractions, including Rangitoto Island, Riverhead, Waiheke Island, Tiri Tiri Matangi and more. The whole experience with Auckland Sea Shuttle was brilliant! The booking crew was easy and amazingly helpful, they went out of their way to solve my dilemmas and put together the best possible itinerary for me. The trip over was stunning, the boat was obviously really well maintained and the skipper was professional (and as a bonus really good looking ;) Hugely recommend these guys as a company that really wants to help their customers.. five stars 🤩

Superb service. Steve was so accommodating, helpful, safety conscious, experienced, and an excellent communicator. Could not have received better service. Comfortable ride on the slightly bumpy seas.
Highly recommend for any of your fishing or ferrying needs in the Hauraki Gulf.

Amazing service. Booked to take family group to rotoroa island. Had to go via waiheke due to the sea conditions. Steve had us buses across waiheke island after using a regular ferry where we boarded the sea shuttle.
The sea was rather choppy (basically I was ready to quit & go home) and hard to get the boat to the jetty. But the shuttle guy got us, all our stuff & the little kids onboard safely & to the island.
Totally saved the day & our family holiday.

I booked Steve’s boat the take a group of 15 friends to Man o War winery from Matiatia on waiheke island. I can not rave enough about how amazing this trip was. Steve made the trip even better with his welcoming attitude and excellent music for us to all enjoy as we celebrated my birthday. The boat itself was amazing, very spacious and comfortable for our party of 15. Steve was so accommodating and even stopped the boat on our return for us to all drive in the ocean. Can’t recommend this company highly enough. We all had the best time. Cannot wait to book it again.

Extremely friendly and efficient service from AK Sea Shuttles both ways to Rangitoto Island. SO convenient for our group to get to Islington Bay this weekend. We were able to take more 'stuff' for our stay & saved us walking 1 1/2 hours from the ferry across the island to where we needed to be. And...really appreciate Steve's graciousness in dealing with the full rubbish bag we inadvertently forgot and left on the shuttle!...Blush!!!

This service is efficient and highly reliable. Steve is an excellent skipper and we have travelled with him many times. He is highly skilled and I always trust his judgment on the water. Steve has assisted us with our luggage and is willing to help on and off the boat. I love travelling with this service.

These water taxis can be reserved in advance from several offices throughout central Auckland and the surrounding areas. They service all areas of the Hauraki gulf, including all the islands. This is an efficient and relatively inexpensive way to visit various tourist attractions in the area. You can also charter a boat for fishing or diving trips or for a romantic bay cruise at sunset or the evening..

The shuttle boats were very nice and efficient. The fares were very reasonable and tickets could be purchased using your credit card. The boat trip afforded a nice view of the harbor. Be sure to take at least one harbor shuttle cruise while in Auckland.
