Waikato River Explorer's 50-foot vessel Cynthia Dew operates calm water, scenic river cruises through Hamilton City, New Zealand's largest inland city. Cruise under Century-old bridges, alongside historic Maori Pa sites and the site of the first European landings in the mid 1860s. You will also pass alongside some of the most sought-after real estate in the region. Cruises depart from the world famous Hamilton Gardens, Swarbrick Landing in the suburb of Chartwell and the Ferrybank Jetty in the city. The schedule operates seven days per week from October to March and five (excl. Monday & Friday) days per week during the colder months. A fully licensed Cafe & Bar is open on all cruises and the vessel is warm in winter.

If you are in Hamilton New Zealand please do the trip to the Hamilton Gardens. Lovely river experience and the gardens are out of this world. Food at the restuarant is reasonable if not using SA Rands.
