My boyfriend and I visited the Faraday Centre on a weekday morning, so we were the only ones there for most of the time. It has several enthusiastic volunteers there, but they weren't intrusive at all (we don't enjoy guided tours for the most part)...More

Kids really enjoyed looking at all the 'old' stuff and learning a bit about science too.There are lots of interactive exhibits here and people on site to explain things to you.
