Walk this route a lot. I used to bike also but now only walking is permitted with dogs on leash at all time. A lovely walk along the estuary with plenty to look at.

Good walk around a very pretty estuary. Easy track and lots of different things to see. Some interesting maori history and a nearby kayak hire place for venturing out into the water.

I do this walk regularly and never tire of it. I prefer to walk anti-clockwise. Seems strange but I believe you see more. I love the bird life and especially the variations of the walk depending on the tides. It is never the same.

We lived in the waterfront apartments for a few years so regularly did this walk. It is so peaceful, and the bird life is amazing. Very easy walk. Love it

A great loop if if you want to get away from the cars on the road. I saw many dog walkers and other runners. I loved my visit. I reccomend visiting when I town.
