Always a perfect spot. You can walk to lookout or take your car all the way to the car park made in the lookout. if you want a beautiful view of the bay visit this place. recommended to everyone.

This was one of the many things we did in our short ( two night ) visit. Supertrike Tours is a MUST do on your list. This is not the original port site, which was interesting to know. The tour does show the original port.

Obtained a free leaflet from the isite and followed the directions up Coote Road and to Sturms Gully. It’s a fair climb and we did have to stop once on the way up to let the heart settle. Great view at the top and fascinating...More

Such a great place to view the port in Napier and surroundings, was really busy at the lookout and the view is so good. A must drive up the hill when in Napier.
